Ailen Mena

A native of Venezuela, Ailén is fluent in Spanish, English, Dutch and Papiamentu and proficient in French. The 21-year-old VWO graduate student is currently in her second year studying Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires. Ailén has great communication skills and is always motivating and inspiring everyone to do their best work. Ailén is an avid Twitch streamer who produces wonderful tutorials on how the play the game of chess. Ailén followed a course of Public Speaking by Toastmasters. She describes herself as; “an analytical thinking person with a lot of empathy”. A Woman FIDE Master, Ailén has managed to put her stamp on the chess sporting world.
